| First day of school. Sayin' "cheese." |
Cooper started a neighborhood Joy School earlier this month. There are 7 kids in the group and the moms take turns teaching letters, colors, and shapes. Cooper LOVES school. All the kids take their little back packs, bring a show and tell item, and completely destroy the hostess's house for an hour and a half.
| Day 1: The letter A and the color red. |
If starting Joy School isn't scary enough (for mom, that is), I just signed him up for Preschool! I knew I wanted him to start school in the Fall but I didn't realize I needed to start thinking about it so soon (it's JANUARY, people). It wasn't until I was talking to the neighbors and they said the closest school was already booked for the coming school year that I started to worry. I had my first panicked mother get-your-kid-in-the-best-school-or he'll-be-behind-forever moment. I've gotta say, I'm not a fan! Luckily, they added two more classes for Cooper's age. I don't like this growing up thing, but I know he'll love Preschool...and that makes it a little easier pill to swallow.
I did the same thing with Ella! I had no idea I needed to sign up so early, and had the same panic moment like you did. Glad he got in, Collin went to the preschool you're going to, and it's been FABULOUS!
